Muhammadia Higher Secondary & Elementary School

Oomerabad, originally a small village, suffered from a total lack of state board education facilities within a 15 to 20 km radius. There was a dire need to provide school education for both Muslims and non-Muslims living in and around the area. Consequently, the founder’s family established the Muhammadia Primary School in 1934, which was later upgraded to a middle school in 1936.

Janab Kaka Mohamed Ibrahim Sahib, along with his younger brother Janab Kaka Mohammed Ishaq Sahib (the founder's sons), played a key role in the establishment and upgradation of the school. Later, Janab Kaka Rasheed Ahmed Sahib, the founder’s grandson, took a keen interest in maintaining the school with great zeal for many years.

The school imparts the State Board curriculum in Tamil medium for both Muslim and non-Muslim boys and girls. The curriculum also includes Islamic studies for Muslim students and moral education for non-Muslims.

During the tenure of the late Janab Kaka Abdullah Sahib, who served as Secretary for 45 years, the institution was upgraded to Muhammadia High School in 2001. In the year 2025, the school further upgraded to the Higher Secondary School with the efforts of its correspondent Janab Kaka Mohammed Khalid Sahib.

Madarsa-e-Niswan Aided Primary School

Madarsa-e-Niswan Building

Islam mandates education for both boys and girls; accordingly, the management of Jamia has placed great emphasis on educating girls. In 1940, a girls' school was established in memory of the late Aamina Sahiba, wife of the founder of Jamia Darussalam late Janab Kaka Mohammed Oomer Sahib, to provide contemporary education alongside foundational Islamic teachings.

What began humbly in a spacious house grew significantly over the years. In 1951, the school was recognized by the State Board as an Urdu-medium institution. Students are fully supported in appearing for their HSC Board examinations.

The school is currently managed by a dedicated committee of experienced members and is led by its Secretary/Correspondent, Janab Kaka Mohammed Ameen Sahib, who works tirelessly to uphold high standards and promote institutional growth. We pray that Almighty Allah accepts our efforts and guides us in our mission to make our student community a source of pride for the nation.

Iqra Higher Secondary Schools (Boys & Girls)

The growing demand for English-medium education led to the establishment of Iqra English School in 1992. The Than visionary General Secretary of the organization, Janab Kaka Sayeed Ahmed Sahib, took the lead in founding the school, ably assisted by Janab Kaka Abdullah Sahib as Secretary and Correspondent for a shorter period and subsequently by Janab Kaka Mohammed Khalid Sahib.

What began as a humble endeavor in makeshift tiled sheds has grown significantly. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the management and faculty, the school has gained strength through its commitment to quality education and discipline.

In 2012, a full-fledged, spacious new building was inaugurated, featuring modern amenities such as science and computer labs, smart boards, a library, and a playground. Furthermore, in 2021, a separate boys' block equipped with these same modern facilities was added.

We are proud to contribute to society by providing quality education rooted in moral values—an approach that has been well-received and appreciated for its discipline and standards.

The school is currently governed by a managing committee of experienced members and is led by its Secretary/Correspondent, Janab Kaka Faheem Ahmed Sahib, who works immensely to maintain high standards and foster institutional growth. May Almighty Allah accept our good deeds and guide us on the right path to making our student community the pride of the nation.
